	June Launch of In The City 2001 web site Bite IT launched the international music industry conference web site www.inthecity.co.uk on 18th June. The web site will develop in the run up to the event (which is being held in Manchester 29th September to 2nd October), to include details of guest speakers and events. In The City attracts over 2000 of the leading figures in the music industry.

	April Launch of Feeder ePromo and Screensavers by EMI / Chrysalis In association with our sister company M3M Media, Bite IT have launched a new ePromo for Feeder on behalf of Chrysalis / EMI. 	February ePromos for Virgin. February ePromos released by Virgin include the massive hit Planet Funk and Amira. Both ePromos have been sponsored by Uboot.com in a deal brokered by Bite IT Ltd. The ePromos were created by our sister company M3M Media and are emailed to hundreds of thousands of music fans, as well as to the music media and portal web sites. 	Investor in People Award Bite IT Ltd and our sister company, m3m media ltd. were awarded the prestigious Investor in People accreditation in record time. The certificate was presented to Linda Cooper (operations manager) and Leigh Engelbrecht (accounts manager) by the Mayoress of Rochdale on Wednesday, 21st March at a special ceremony hosted by Business Link. 	Excellence In Business Awards - Innovation in Technology Award. Bite IT/m3m media win the Innovation in Technology award for the revolutiuonary e-Disc, the interactive multimedia presentation tool. The award was sponsored by Zen Internet, in association with Business Link. The evening was held at the Norton Grange Hotel. The award, along with a cheque for £1000, was presented to Bite IT/m3m media's MD Declan Cosgrove by Zen Internet MD Richard Tang.

	Bite IT to produce In The City website Bite IT have been commissioned as the web site designers for In The City - Europe's largest annual music convention. This year's event was held in Manchester in September. Bite IT were also commissioned to design the web site for Interactive City - the only established UK event dedicated to the e-commerce revolution and it's central role in the creative and leisure industries. The event was held in Glasgow on 11-12th June.
