Background

Bartok opened in August 1998 and continues to blush under the fire of compliments from customers and reviewers alike. In essence, Bartok, named after the Hungarian composer Bela Bartok, is an expansion of the chill out room idea, placed in Regency styled surroundings.

Maurice Power, former director of Mean Fiddler (once of Europe's largest music promoters and live music venue operators) approached Bite IT with a request for a design of a website and a Content Management System, which would allow the staff to update the content of the website, especially the daily live music listings, without the necessity of having programming skills.

Solution

Bite IT designed a web site, complimenting the logo and the existing brand of the company and developed a Content Management System which allows the client to update the content by logging in to a secure administration panel. The user friendly administration panel allows the client to easily update the text and photos within the site and to add new pages. A data capture facility logs email addresses of customers wanting to subscribe to the Bartok newsletter.
