Background

Apollo Heating Ltd provides a comprehensive 24 hour Gas Maintenance & Installation service from their head Office in Manchester. They have a constantly expanding team of A.C.S qualified engineers based at strategic locations across the UK and needed a bespoke system which would provide a scaleable system to allow their customers who operate chains of retail stores, to book engineers installation visits.

Solution

Bite IT created an online system which allowed customers to log in and arrange an engineers appointment, for each customer who requires a gas appliance to be installed. The system calculates the next available engineers slot per post code area and the system's administration panel allows easy access to a log of all previously arranged visits, sorted by the day or month.

Outcome

Apollo Heating now provide their clients with a 24/7 online booking facility and now have online access to the log of all past and future bookings in a particular area, vastly reducing the administrative work and reducing the call centre sales administration costs by 75%. Engineers can access a live view and print out a list of bookings for any given day or post code area and clients no longer have to phone the call centre.
