Inferno Fireplaces are firelplaces manufacturers based in Manchester who needed an Intranet system in order to record clients orders, across multiple locations and to use the system as a stock level display tool.
The solution provided by Bite IT offered the clients an opportunity to log in online through a secure area and access products records and clients orders 24/7. Bite created an online administration panel which displayed the database information in a user friendly manner. Customers now receive their invoices immediately, rather than head office having to manually process them several days later.
By using the system which was created by Bite, Inferno have an online stock availability tool, an online record of client's orders, can check order statuses and keep their clients informed with the latest changes of their order status. The user friendliness of the system allowed any staff member to be easily trained to operate with the Intranet solution and improved the customer service level by keeping the staff informed at all times and avoiding unecessary paperwork.
Any changes to the products, pricing or stock levels are now shown immediately to all staff and products which are 'out of stock' can not be ordered.
