news
| Return of "Comin Atcha!" on CITV
Hot News - our TV series was so popular that it is being shown again on CITV - 4.40pm on Wednesdays! Called COMIN' ATCHA, the live action/animation series was produced by Initial, makers of the UK's leading music event The Brit Awards, which is broadcast annually on ITV. The weekly 7-part CITV series features 20 minute episodes with different themes running through them and guest appearances from teen sensations Damage and Ultimate Kaos. The show is a poptastic combination of comedy, drama, music and animation, with stories loosely based on the day-to-day adventures of Cleopatra and our rise to fame. A real family affair, COMIN' ATCHA stars all three of us and also features our mum and baby sister Terri!! Each 20 minute episode follows the day-to-day adventures of Cleopatra and our exciting roller-coaster rise to stardom. At the same time, it includes all the usual frustrations, ambitions, tears and laughter facing any three teenage girls. With a healthy sense of humour, COMIN' ATCHA brings a powerful message to the young audience - if you believe in yourself and dare to dream, your dreams just might come true. Nigel Pickard, Controller of
Children's' Programmes at the ITV Network Centre said: "Cleopatra typifies the sort
of show CITV has to offer. We are delighted that they will be with us in 1999." COMIN' ATCHA is executive produced by Malcolm Gerrie and Spencer Campbell. It is produced by Paulette and Beverley Randall with Ken Bolam as associate producer and Angie de Chasterai Smith as director. The animation sequences are produced by Slave Studios. It is an Initial production for CITV. |
